Industrial Laborum History



Industrial Laborum certified by TÜV according to ISO 9001:2000, was built in 1978 with the goal to be the first Portuguese Company to produce and install laboratory furniture and through this take advantage of an unexplored segment of the market.

The company is specialized in the planning, design, production, selling and installation of furniture and equipment.

To achieve such standarts we count with the experience of integrated work (30 years), developed by project experts in the planning, execution and assembly of a hundred laboratories and a strong and constant investment in the ability to respond to the different demands.



The company primes for: perfect work organization, constant formation of the technical staff, entire informatization of the several departments, most recent production technologies, modern car fleet and "just in time" supply, originating the quality and quickness of Industrial Laborum's integrated service.

With the present 80% market share, Industrial Laborum strives to increase it to 95% in the next couple of years. To enlarge the market leadership, the company has invested throughout the years in the permanent improvement of the product's quality and design, thus becoming an irrefutable reference in the Portuguese market.

Within its development policies, Industrial Laborum moved its installations in 1998, being at this moment located in Albergaria-a-Velha. With the acquirement of these installations, a total area of 15.000m2, of wich 9.000m2 are covered, Industrial Laborum was able to resolve its primary problems: the lack of space that generated retrocession, crossing and congestion in the fabrication circuits.

As well as the acquision of the new installations, there was a strong investment in the most modern industrial production equipment, management and production planning.
