The Indlab model was developed to carry out tests with dangerous products, guaranteeing a high reliability in its operation. It always ensures a flow velocity in the inner chamber (work area), avoiding turbulence and the possibility of escaping dangerous gases.

This is Industrial Laborum's Premium model, being an INDLAB Fume hood certified by TÜV Nord and developed in accordance with the standards IN 14175-2: 2003 e IN 14175-3: 2003.

Appointment CE according to the directives: 2014/30 / EU (Electromagnetic compatibility) and 2014/35 / EU (low tension).

Components that minimize risks.

This fume hood, with its outer body covered by panels that have high chemical resistance, with the interior area that includes aerodynamic elements that optimize air flow and a vertical and horizontal opening window, will guarantee the necessary safety for its user and laboratory environment where this fume hood is located.

The IndLab Fume Hood model features 2/3 schuko-type outlets (type F), two cold water valves and a gas valve, as well as a drip cup fixed to the service panel or work surface.


IndLab Fume Hood has a constant air volume (VAC) system but sometimes it is necessary for the air volume to be variable, in which case a VAC system (variable air volume) can be installed, which contributes to an optimization of the energy consumption of the fume hood. 

At Industrial Laborum Ibérica we produce products adapted to our customers, hence we present different types of materials that adapt to their needs. 

IndLab Fume Hood presents different materials for the different components:

 — External structure: sheet steel, melamine or stainless steel. 

 — Interior structure: phenolic compact, polypropylene, ceramic stoneware, fiberglass, ceramic mosaic or stainless steel. 

 — Bench: Compact phenolic, polypropylene, ceramic stoneware or stainless steel. 

Depending on the type of products that will be handled in the fume hood, the following combinations are recommended: 


 Flammable: IndLab fume hood for flammable chemical materials, with cold-rolled sheet steel exterior, stainless steel interior and work surface. It is a fume hood recommended for those who intend to work with materials from petroleum and some explosive powders, being a hood that withstands high temperatures while maintaining the safety of its user. 

 Acids: IndLab Fume Hood developed for acidic chemical materials, with cold-rolled steel sheet exterior, polypropylene interior and work surface. It is a Fume Hood recommended for those who intend to work with strong acids and very corrosive materials, guaranteeing stability and safety for users. However, due to the nature of polypropylene, the use of material or equipment with high temperatures is not recommended, as they will damage the polypropylene. 

Radioisotope: Fume Hood specifically developed for radioisotope chemical materials, with stainless steel exterior, interior and work surface. It is a fume hood recommended for those who intend to work with a radioisotope, ensuring stability and safety for users. It is also a fume hood recommended for those who work in environments with high temperature and that need to be constantly cleaned, however, due to the nature of the material, it is not a fume hood recommended for working with some acids. 

In the Indlab Fume Hood, the controls and electrical sockets are present on the side props of the equipment, and the spouts are present on the interior panels of the fume hood. It is also possible to present the controls and sockets on the fume hood's front panel, with the services available on the sides of the fume hood's interior. 

In addition to the VAV (Variable Air Volume) system, the IndLab fume hood can be equipped with an automatic window closing system or a SCAT chemical waste collection system. 

The fume hood installation site must have a magnetothermic circuit breaker to ensure that if there are other equipment connected to the differential switch, they are not without power supply in case the fume hood needs to be maintained.
